Your'e in the band NCFE resource booklets
Designed to support the delivery of the NCFE 1/2 Music technology VCERT. In this project you will investigate music from the 1950’s to the present day. You will develop an understanding of the technology used, the structure, melody and rhythm of music within each time period. You will also rehearse and perform a piece of iconic music from each decade. Highlighted decade proforma tables show an overview of what is covered in detail. Each decade includes both a teacher PowerPoint with retrieval practices, questions and answers and prompts in the notes section as well as a printable student booklets with spaces for answers. I have used these with my own students with great success: students use the booklets for revision and NEA support (outside the NEA delivery window) This project has been well received by 1st and 2nd year students. I hope you will find success in using it with your own students too.
